A bit about me...
 Hello, and welcome. My name is John, and in these pages I will attempt to share some of myself with you.
John's Quick Bio:
I was born in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1952. I was raised in Hingham, Massachsetts, by my father's sister and her husband, Helen and Sulo Wehter. I was married at the age of 37 to Marylisa Celine Phelan of Saugus, MA. Lisa passed away on May 30th, 2003, at the age of 41. She left me a better man than I was.
I am the Manager of IT Infrastructure Operations at Osram Sylvania. I have been there since 1988. Prior to this job I worked for General Electric as a metrologist and a nuclear reactor repairman. That's right, I glow in the dark.
I have an Extra class ham radio license (W1JCL, ex KA1AHD), enjoy amateur astronomy, and still have my pilot's license, although I haven't flown for about 17 years.
And here we are now.
